Silicon Radar GmbH is one of the leading tech companies in the region and a long-standing tenant at the BIC. This success was recognized by the Hanse Club - Wirtschaft für Frankfurt (Oder) und Eisenhüttenstadt e.V. with this year's Hanse Award.
Silicon Radar is a success story for the business and innovation location Frankfurt (Oder) and especially for the Technology Park. The company was founded in 2006 as a spin-off from the neighboring IHP Leibniz Institute for Innovative Microelectronics.
The president of the Hanse Club, Torsten Röglin, and the managing director Ursula Jung-Friedrich invited to the award ceremony in the premises of the BIC Space on the evening of December 2, 2022.
There, BIC Managing Director Erik Börner welcomed Hanse Club members and their guests, including award winner Anja Bölicke, Mayor Rene Wilke and Mayor Claus Junghanns.
The keynote speech was given by Dr. Steffen Kammradt, Managing Director of the Brandenburg Economic Development Corporation, and the laudatory speech was delivered by Prof. Peter Langendörfer of IHP. Afterwards, the evening ended with a convivial get-together and culinary delights.
